The DDoS Protections Services Landscape

As the Director of Sales for DOSarrest Internet Security I have the opportunity to speak with many prospects looking for DDoS protection service for their corporate website. DOSarrest has been providing Fully Managed DDoS protection services for corporations since 2007. Globally we were one of the very first DDoS protection providers and have successfully mitigated thousands of real world attacks. This is a not an “add on product” for us. Our team has the experience and the protection of a client’s website is our #1 priority. Please visit our newly revamped website and take a look at the testimonials page to see what some of our current customers are saying about their experience with us. Our Enterprise level service is worthy of consideration based on reliability, customer service and the value it provides. We offer a much lower entry level cost than our competitors for an Enterprise level service. With this service customers receive protection from any and all DDoS attacks without the need to pay additional regardless of the size of an attack. I encourage anyone that is serious about protecting their corporate website to contact our sales team and receive a competitive quote.  https://www.dosarrest.com/contact-sales/

What I have learned is that many of our competitors are offering what I consider a “vanilla offering”.  Some even offer free service or a low cost paid service ranging from $200 – $500/mth. Be careful as most of these plans are considered more of a Content Delivery Network service and includes very basic DDoS protection. They also advertise an Enterprise level offering which includes much more however it comes with a very expensive starting price. I have outlined a few points below that will help provide reasons why clients have chosen to switch over to DOSarrest for service.

When a company’s website is hit by a large attack, which is completely out of their control, they are told they should upgrade to a very expensive enterprise offering. If this is not bad enough they are told they need to do it immediately or risk their site going down. How can a client control the size of an attack they are experiencing! This uncertainty makes it virtually impossible for a company to budget costs. Let’s not be mistaken, their goal is to get you onto their Enterprise offering which will cost you in excess of a thousand dollars per month.

I have also heard from prospects numerous times that a lower cost service does not offer adequate customer support. In fact in most cases there is no phone support included at all or only during business hours! Alternatively at DOSarrest Internet Security we offer an Enterprise level service at a reasonable cost. Our service includes full telephone and email access to our 24/7 support team. This provides you direct access to system experts. We do not operate a tiered support service given the criticality of the service.

Our fully managed service also includes WAF to protect against layer 7 attacks, CDN capabilities to help with performance of your website and an external monitoring account called DEMS which stands for our DOSarrest External Monitoring Service. This allows our 24/7 support team to monitor your website from 8 sensors in 6 strategic geographic regions. We will proactively inform our clients if we notice any issues with their website 24/7. Our competitors do not offer these services as part of a package where DOSarrest includes all it them at one low cost.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly or anyone on our sales team at sales@dosarrest.com for further information on our service.
